🧑‍🍳 Meet Kaustubh Joshi

Founder & Master Baker

Kaustubh’s culinary journey began in the heart of India’s vibrant hospitality world. Backed by a Hotel Management degree in 2008, Kaustubh trained at esteemed institutions like Taj, Aurangabad, Le Méridien Pune and Pizza Hut (2006–2007). During his training, he discovered that his true passion wasn’t just in kitchens; it was in creating moments of pure sweetness.

In 2009, he took his first entrepreneurial leap and opened a small cake shop, a humble beginning fueled by big dreams. With unwavering dedication, signature craftsmanship and a flair for creativity. With relentless dedication, he expanded to five successful cake shops by 2013. Life seemed full of sweet success until an ambitious leap into the cookie manufacturing industry brought unexpected challenges. Taking over a cookie factory turned into heavy losses, forcing him to sell all his properties to clear liabilities.

For many, that would have been the end of the story, but Kaustubh believes in something greater: hope, resilience and the magic of starting again.
And so, The Baking Genie was born.

Today, that same passion is the heart of The Baking Genie. Every creation that comes out of the kitchen carries his belief that baking is more than a profession; it is an expression of love, warmth and a little everyday magic.
